According to religious beliefs, the ‘Guhya’ part of Mother Sati’s body fell here. The most unique feature of this temple is that there is no idol of the Goddess. Instead, in the middle of a flat surface, there is a small hole that is worshipped in the form of a Kalash. Water flows continuously from this hole, which is considered very sacred. The Goddess here is worshipped as ‘Mahamaya’ and Bhairav is established in the form of ‘Kapal.’
