At such times, seeking refuge in Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati on Mahashivratri proves to be a guiding light in life. Mahashivratri is the sacred festival of the divine union of Shiva and Parvati, which is described in scriptures as a highly auspicious occasion that grants marital happiness, love, and family balance. Located in Uttarakhand, Triyuginarayan Temple is the divine place where Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati were united in sacred marriage. It is believed that offerings made here on a grand occasion like Mahashivratri are immediately accepted, and the combined blessings of Shiva and Shakti are received swiftly. Through Viaveda, you can offer Shiv–Parvati prayers on this Mahashivratri and receive divine blessings of harmony in relationships, a happy married life, and lifelong marital bliss, bringing love, peace, and stability back into your life.
Triyuginarayan Temple is an ancient and sacred site dedicated to Lord Vishnu, located in the village of Triyuginarayan in Rudraprayag district, Uttarakhand. According to mythology, this place was once considered the capital of King Himavat, and it is here that the divine marriage of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati took place. It is said that their holy wedding was performed at the large havan kund (sacred fire pit) where flames burned in all four directions. Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, and all gods and sages attended the ceremony. The ashes from this sacred fire are still taken by devotees as a blessing for a happy married life.
The name Triyuginarayan signifies the presence of divine energy from three different eras (Yugas), symbolizing the eternal connection of Vishnu, Shiva, and Parvati. The temple complex also includes four sacred water pools: Rudra Kund, Vishnu Kund, Brahma Kund, and Saraswati Kund. The water in these ponds is considered highly holy, as it is believed that the gods themselves bathed here during the wedding ceremony. Saraswati Kund is especially sacred, as the water is believed to originate from Lord Vishnu’s navel. For this reason, the Chadhava made here is considered extremely beneficial for liberation from sinful karma, marital happiness, harmony, and prosperity. ViaVeda conducts this Chadhava on your behalf and delivers the blessings to your home.
