In 2026, Aquarius natives are going through the first phase of Shani Sade Sati. According to astrological beliefs, this period may be associated with increased expenses, financial pressure, mental stress and concerns about the future. During this time, worshipping Shani Dev is considered a way to pray for patience, balance and stability in life.
What Challenges are Associated with the First Phase of Sade Sati?
The effects of Sade Sati are not considered limited to finances or expenses. In astrological tradition, this period is also associated with career obstacles, instability in jobs or business, delays in marriage, relationship stress, financial pressure and difficulty in making important decisions. Therefore, discipline, patience and thoughtful decision-making are considered especially important during this phase.

Shri Navgrah Shani Temple in Ujjain is dedicated to the Navgrahas, with special worship offered to Shani Dev. Devotees visit temples dedicated to Shani Dev to pray for protection from adverse planetary influences and seek remedies for astrological Doshas. Located in the sacred city of Ujjain near the Kshipra River, this temple is traditionally believed to have been established by King Vikramaditya.

Tradition also associates the beginning of Vikram Samvat with the establishment of this temple. Devotees offer oil to Shani Dev here and pray for the fulfilment of their wishes, protection from hardships and relief from difficulties in life.
