The Budhanilkantha Temple is an ancient and mysterious Hindu temple located in Kathmandu, Nepal, where Lord Vishnu is enshrined, but in the form of a Neelkanth. Therefore, it is also known as the Budhanilkantha Temple. The most striking feature of this temple is the statue of Lord Vishnu, as no other statue of Vishnu is seen in this manner anywhere in the world. The temple’s unique feature is the sleeping statue of Lord Vishnu. The statue holds the Sudarshan Chakra, a robe, a conch, and a gem in each of its four hands, and the eleven hoods of Sheshnag (a serpent serpent) are near its head.
